INTERNATIONAL ASSET BANK AD shall consult and finance projects of its customers which will furnish an application under operational programs Regional Development, Development of the Competitiveness of Bulgarian Economy, Human Resource Development, Rural Development Program, Fishery and Aquaculture Development Program, Administrative Capacity Operational Programme, Operational Programme Technical Assistance.
Regional Development Operational program supports measures for urban reconstruction and renewal, tourism development, design of local and regional transport schemes and integrated initiatives for regional and local development
Human Resource Development Operational program supports projects focused on acquisition of expanded knowledge and skills. The goal is to affirm the practice of pursuing professional studies throughout one’s life and secure higher quality of workforce and access to quality education and training. The program shall finance projects guaranteeing equal opportunities and enhancing the development of social economics and improvement of labor conditions.
Development of the Competitiveness of Bulgarian Economy Operational program was designed to finance operations that would increase the efficiency of enterprises, support business environment development, improve the access to financing and trigger economic growth based on knowledge and innovation. Program beneficiaries may count on program financing to strengthen the international market positions of Bulgarian business persons.
Rural Development Program supports projects on organization of farms managed by young farmers; modernization of sectors boasting with tradition and export potential like the production of wine, fruits, vegetables, milk, meat, honey, oil-bearing crops, grain fodders, tobacco, wheat grinding, biological agriculture. Moreover, the program funds the improvement in the infrastructure of rural municipalities, as well as non-agricultural activities. International Asset Bank AD offers preferential terms for financing of projects under Rural Development Operational Programme in accordance with a signed contract with the State Fund "Agriculture" for granting loans to people with approved projects.
Fishery and Aquaculture Development Program is aimed at securing sustainable environmental-friendly management of natural resources, good profit for the fishing fleet, sustainable development of aquaculture involving processing industry and marketing, growth in fishermen’s income and improvement in the living conditions in the coastal zones.
Administrative Capacity Operational Programme supports measures for strengthening administrative capacity at all levels of state governance – central, regional, and municipal administrations, as well as the structures of civil society and judicial system. The strategical goal of the programme is to support the effective functioning of public administration, that will improve the quality of services offered by state administration. The financing of ACOP comes from the European Social Fund (ESF).
Operational Programme Technical Assistance has for a principal objective to further improve the coordination, control and implementation of Structural and Cohesion Funds in Bulgaria for the period 2007-2013. By strengthening the structures responsible, OPTA aims to provide reliable management information system and monitoring of these instruments and inform the public about the Bulgarian National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) and the European Cohesion Policy.
