Disclosure
In compliance with the requirements of Ordinance № 8 on Capital Adequacy of Credit Institutions, art. 335, International Asset Bank AD disclosed public information that allows market participants to assess key pieces of information on the scope of application, capital, risk exposures, risk assessment processes, and hence the capital adequacy of the institution.
The aim of this disclosure is to increase bank’s clients acquaintancy of the risks taken and the way the bank evaluates and manages the risks, going along with its activities.
According to the legal requirements, International Asset Bank AD provided the information on the bank’s official Internet site on:
- scope and methods of consolidation;
- risk management policies and rules;
- structure and elements of the capital base;
- capital requirements;
- exposure to counterparty credit risk;
- exposure to credit risk and dilution risk;
- information on the nominated ECAIs and ECAs in applying the Standardized Approach for credit risk;
- in applying Article 63, paragraph 7 and Article 66 for the Internal Ratings Based Approach – information on the exposures broken down by category and risk weighting;
- capital requirement for position risk and settlement risk for the instruments in the trading book, as well as foreign exchange risk and commodity risk for the overall business;
- internal models for market risk;
- exposure to operational risk;
- equity instruments in the banking book;
- interest rate risk in the banking book;
- securitization;
- recognition for supervisory purposes of the internal models and credit risk mitigation techniques;
- other relevant information for disclosure.
The Bank’s annual financial report of 2009 is published on the official Internet site as well, prepared in compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), adopted by European Commission.
