New Electronic Services and Means of Authentication

Dear customers,


In line with the current trends in digitalisation and to ensure maximum protection for its electronic channels, as well as in connection with the implementation of the requirements of Directive (EU) 2015/2366 (PSD 2), International Asset Bank AD launches a new mobile banking application Asset Mobile and changes the way its Asset Online web banking platform works by adding new methods of strong customer authentication (SCA).


Starting August 19th, 2019, the Bank will offer its customers two new authentication methods that meet current security standards - the software Asset Token, part of the Asset Mobile application and the Asset Device hardware token. The new means to identify, log in and confirm transactions through the Bank's electronic channels replace the currently used Secure Call service.


By November 30th, 2019, all customers of the Bank - users of Asset Online as of August 19th, 2019, are required to switch to one of the new authentication methods in order to continue to reap the benefits of the Internet banking platform. For this purpose, it is not necessary to visit the financial center of the Bank, but only to install the Asset Mobile application on a mobile device with an operating system version, respectively, not lower than Android 5.1 or iOS 11.


Following the same directive, from September changes will be introduced in making card payment transactions on the Internet. In order to continue paying without any problems in this mode, please submit your current contact information (mobile phone number and e-mail address) to your International Asset Bank AD financial center by 14/09/2019.
